“Expect the unexpected” is a cliché for most, but for Sarajevo artist Stoposto, it’s a paradigm; he’s proven this countless times throughout his fifteen-year career.

No matter who he shares the microphone with on stage or in the studio, the undisputed lyricist of Sarajevo’s streets, Stoposto aka Joja, builds a tower of unique style, drawing inspiration from both the past and present of hip-hop culture, thus creating the future of the new Sarajevo rap school.

Listening to his releases, it’s impossible not to get the feeling that every genre is too tight for this artist, and that he is reborn whenever he finds himself in a new sonic space, outside his comfort zone. And if music is his comfort zone, it seems that even that has become too narrow, as in recent years Stoposto has made successful ventures into the realm of video production.
